      El presente artículo ofrece una primera aproximación a una lectura de los movimientos sociales contemporáneos desde la perspectiva de la obra de Deleuze y Guattari. Este acercamiento se sitúa dentro de ciertas tendencias en las ciencias sociales post-constructivistas hacia lo que el investigador mexicano Manel de landa ha denominado como «ontologías planas» (teorías de redes, ensamblajes, emergencia y auto-organización, y otras). se argumenta que una de las funciones más importantes de los movimientos sociales es articular una política de lo virtual, la cual podría dar pautas para construir mundos y conocimientos más allá del euro/logo-centrismo de las formas dominantes de modernidad.
