Alimentação com base em plantas: avaliação psicométrica de variáveis psicossociais e psicopolíticas associadas

A alimentação com base em plantas reúne, entre outros, os estilos alimentares vegetarianos e veganos, e constitui uma das principais estratégias para a mitigação da mudança climática. Neste estudo foram adaptadas e avaliadas as propriedades psicométricas (estrutura interna, confiabilidade, e validade concomitante) de escalas para avaliar variáveis psicossociais e psicopolíticas associadas à aceitação ou rejeição desse estilo alimentar. Concretamente, consideram-se medições de significado da comida na vida, especismo, carnismo, percepção do vegetarianismo e veganismo como ameaças e preconceitos sobre pessoas vegetarianas e veganas. Realizou-se um estudo empírico quantitativo de corte instrumental, com uma amostra não probabilística acidental de N=577 pessoas adultas residentes na Argentina, ratificando adequadas propriedades psicométricas das medidas consideradas.
