The relationship between social work and social responsibility is based on its historical and conceptual link from which the system of contradictions between its purposes and the way in which the operational nature of social responsibility affects the work of the discipline, at least in the context theoretical component that supports it. The analysis of these contradictions highlights the relevance of an inquiry into the ideological systems that boost the interactions between individuals in the social base, their interaction with the state and the environment, as well as the budgets that guide the professional exercise of social work .
